Empowering Girls for Life!

There is an aura of confidence around Physie girls of all ages. Taught to stand tall, with strength and pride, they are team players committed to achieving their goals.

Unlike some ballet and dance studios, BJP Physie focuses on developing the self-esteem of its students.By teaching them to have a positive relationship with their bodies, we help students blossom with confidence and self-assurance.

Physie (pronounced ‘fizzy’), is a sport for girls and women from 4 years and up which builds confidence, good posture, strength, fitness and flexibility through exercise and dance.
The choreography is age appropriately designed to teach the relationship of music to movement, rhythm, coordination, balance and interpretation. Physie also improves memory, focus, teamwork and motor skills.
The syllabus, updated annually, is performed to modern music and includes standing and floor
exercises, aerobic warm-ups, jazz, hip hop, basic ballet and contemporary dance.

Physie is the perfect combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility. The benefits for your daughter are increased coordination, brain development and confidence.

Physie is a synchronised, Individual & team-based sport that’s social and fun and an excellent low impact dance and aerobic activity.

Members are taught a syllabus provided by our national organisation at weekly classes.

All routines are built upon as the year progresses, culminating in group and individual performances at the end of the year. The performances are a highlight for all girls and ladies, and are a great way to develop confidence, performance skills and teamwork.

The Physie year culminates in a series of friendly competitions for both teams and individuals. These
are not compulsory but they do foster a club spirit, a sense of belonging and club loyalty.
The Junior and Ladies National Finals are held at Quay Centre in Sydney Olympic Park. The
prestigious Seniors Finals are held in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House.

All teachers at our club are trained by BJP.
